Panthers sweep Rebs in Saturday twinbill

After suffering a sweep at the hands of Benjamin Russell last week, Elmore County High found its stride in a two-game sweep of Reeltown at McGhee Field in Eclectic.
The Panthers recorded wins of 7-2 and 5-3 to improve to 3-2 on the year.
The Panthers were scheduled to end the week playing in the Field of Dreams tournament in Dadeville. Elmore County faced Auburn on Wednesday. The Panthers have games against Benjamin Russell and host Tigers set to close out the week.
After traveling to Central-Coosa (March 4) and Reeltown (March 6), ECHS will meet Tallassee in the first area series of the year.
