Eclectic’s Main Street will be on fire with music and fun Saturday as the fire department presents its annual Fireman’s Bash fundraiser on Main Street.
The action will be at the Eclectic Warehouse from 2-8 p.m. The music will begin at 3 p.m., with popular regional musicians Montgomery Junction. The Shouting Stones will perform starting at 5 p.m.
“We just ask that everyone come out and support us,” said Fire Chief Adam Graham.
The event helps refill the EFD’s association fund, which pays for the support activities for which its city and state funding cannot be used.
There will also be a variety of equipment and firefighting demonstrations, as well as a blazing demonstration of the fire-stopping power of an indoor sprinkler system.
The popular “smokehouse” demonstration unit will also be there, along with rides and games for the kids.
Assistant Chief Ted McGinty said there would be a lot to see and enjoy.
