•Seman Baptist Church will sponsor a yard sale April 6 starting at 6:30 a.m. The yard sale will be held on Alabama Highway 9, six miles north of Santuck.

•There will be a fish fry at Antioch Baptist Church April 6 starting at 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the youth/children. Everyone is ­invited.

•There will be a camp stew/white chili sale and indoor yard sale at Cedarwood Community Church in Wetumpka April 6 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp stew and chili are $8 for a large microwaveable, reuseable container. The indoor yard sale will have a lot of clothes, kitchen items, etc. New items are coming in weekly. Vendors welcome with no charge for setup. •The Crusaders Southern gospel group will be at Wallsboro United Methodist Church April 7 at the 11 a.m. service. They will minister in song and worship. Everyone is invited. Come and be blessed.

•Eclectic United Methodist Church will celebrate Jesus and celebrate the church April 7. This will be a special day in the life of the church, filled with sharing, fellowship, preaching, singing and eating. Breakfast will be at 9 a.m., followed by singing, praise and sharing at 10 a.m. After a break from 10:50 to 11 a.m., the service will continue. Bring a covered dish for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Prayer time in the sanctuary will be at 1:15 p.m.

•St. James United Methodist Church in Montgomery will hold an auction April 13 to benefit student and children missions. Proceeds will help send students on mission trips to third world countries. The auction will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Bidders may preview items April 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. on April 13 from 12 to 4 p.m. There is no cost for admission. Items include antique furniture and rugs, original artwork, jewelry, salon and boutique certificates, gift cards from local restaurants and vacation homes. Last year, the auction helped send more than 75 youth on mission trips to Honduras, Atlanta and Nashville and work with local ministries. This year’s monies will benefit The Widow’s Ministry in Chattanooga, Tenn., The Alabama Rural Ministries in Tuskegee and other local projects.

•Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Eclectic will observe Homecoming April 14. Worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Kempter Family will be the special guest for this event.

•Mitts Chapel Baptist Church in Deatsville will hold a one-day only Vacation Bible School April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. It’s Greek to Me! is open to pre-K through sixth grade students. Youth are encouraged to return at 7 p.m. for the drive-in. For more information, call 334-569-1952.

•The Proclaimers Quartet from Columbus, Ga. will perform at Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka April 21 at 6 p.m.

•Mt. Zion #3 Missionary Baptist Church in Eclectic will hold a pastoral installation service for Rev. and Sister JaCorey Calloway April 21 at 2:30 p.m. The theme will be Jeremiah 3:15, II Timothy 4:1-8, A shepherd after God’s own heart preaching in season and out of season. Guest minister will be Rev. Bernard Harris, pastor of Mt. Lovely Missionary Baptist Church in Camp Hill, Ala.
•A dedication ceremony for Mt. Hebron East Baptist Church will be held April 28 at 10:30 a.m.

•Servant Fellowship Ministries will celebrate Pastor Fay Day May 5 at 3 p.m. The event will honor Pastor Fay Leonard, evangelist, teacher and radio personality, for 25 years. Special guests will include Elder David and Evangelist Monica Powell and Greater Harvest Apostolic Church family, Montgomery; Pastor Troy Holley and First Baptist Church family, Wilsonville; The Gray Sisters of Decatur; and Mt. •A women’s self defense class will be held at New Home Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 14 in Wetumpka May 11 at 10 a.m. All donations will go to the Sunshine Center in Montgomery.

•First United Methodist Church Wetumpka will hold VBS June 24-28. The theme will be “Kingdom Rock.”

•Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon every third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.

•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. Includes devotion, program, prizes and covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families encouraged to attend.

•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.

•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Tallassee.

•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).
