Mrs. Delphia Mae Davis, 79, passed away at her Wetumpka residence on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. April 18 at Gassett Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 2:30 p.m. in Bullard Cemetery in Eclectic with Brother Jack Clark officiating.
She is survived by her husband, William Davis, and daughter Malaura (Bob) Campbell of Wetumpka; grandchildren, Tena (Lee) Barnes, James (Becky) Sessions, Rob (Brandy) Sessions, and Brandon Sessions, and four great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby (Jim) Atwell, Columbia (Bobby) Hager, Rosaline (Tom) Murray and Paula (Denny) Allen.
She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Paul Davis, and sisters, Audrey Burgess and Manoka Lawrence.
Delphia was a Born Again devout Christian woman, and member of Tunnel Baptist Church.
She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, and will be greatly missed.
