Reports filed by officers of the Elmore County Sheriff’s Department April 16-17.
April 16

• Harassing communications was reported on the 11000 block of Central Plank Road.
• Violation of the community notification act was reported when a sex offender changed residences without notifying law enforcement when a convicted sex offender (rape and sodomy) moved to a lot on the 100 block of Sundown Road.
• Identity theft was reported at Jackson Place in Wetumpka when a tax return was fraudulently filed.
• Harassment was reported on Blackjack Road in Tallassee.
• Second-degree theft of property and third-degree burglary was reported on Shady Lane when prescription medication was stolen.
• Third-degree receiving stolen property was reported on the 12000 block of Redland Road.
• Second-degree theft of property was reported on the 500 block of Parker Lane in Tallassee when an ATV was stolen.

April 17
• Third-degree criminal mischief was reported on Mercer Road in Elmore when a gate was damaged.
• Identity theft was reported on Rose Busch Court in Wetumpka when tax returns were filed illegally.
• Third-degree domestic violence was reported on Single Oak Road and Ceasarville Road.
• Second-degree theft of property was reported on Shady Lane in Wetumpka when prescription medications were stolen.
• Second-degree marijuana possession and traffic violations were reported on Main Street in Millbrook.

Arrests made by officer of the Elmore County Sheriff’s Department April 16-17.

April 16
• A Tallassee man, 33, was arrested on the 12000 block of Redland Road and charged with thirdr-degree receiving stolen property and three traffic violations.
• A Deatsville man, 34, was arrested on the 400 block of Airport Road in Elmore and charged with failure to appear and non-payment of child support.
• a wetumpka man, 31, was arrested on Zeigler and Atkin Hill Roads in Holtville and charged with three counts of failure to appear.
• A Montgomery man, 36, was arrested at the county line and charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument and second-degree theft of property.
• A Clanton man, 37, was arrested in Wetumpka and charged with third-degree assault.
• A Camp Hill man, 21, was arrested and charged with failure to appear.
•A Coosada woman, 20, was arrested on Main Street in Millbrook and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana.
• A Marietta, Ga., woman, 29, was arrested at the jail and charged with four counts of negotiating with a worthless instrument.
• A Verbena man, 32, was arrested at the Chilton County Jail on a grand jury indictment for promoting prison contraband.

April 17
• A Wetumpka man, 30, was arrested and charged with third-degree receiving stolen property.
• A Wetumpka man, 24, was arrested on the 800 block of Politic Road and charged with three counts of failure to appear.
• An Elmore man, 51, was arrested at the jail and charged with reckless endangerment.
• An Anderson, S.C., man, 23, was arrested on Highway 231 and charged with failure to appear on robbery charges and a probation violation.
• A Wetumpka man, 33, was arrested at the sheriff’s office on a probation violation.
• A Prattville man, 41, was arrested in Wetumpka on non-payment of child support.
