•Wallsboro United Methodist Church will host a free outdoor movie on a big screen April 27 at dark (about 8 p.m.). Movie is Disney’s animated film “Up!” about finding one’s self by fulfilling a lifelong dream. Chairs will be provided, but guests can bring their own. Free popcorn, candy and drinks. Bring the whole family. The movie will be moved inside if rain or bad weather. The church is located at 11066 U.S. Highway 231 in the Wallsboro area of Wetumpka.

•The annual Dolly Boshell Singing will be April 27 at Antioch Baptist Church in Titus. Supper will be at 5:30 p.m .and the singing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Forgiven Heart will be the guest singers. Everyone is invited.

•Coosada Baptist Church will hold a Gaither-style Gospel Singing April 27 at 6 p.m. Singers will include Justified, Spoken For, Tom Snowden, Coleman’s Remix, Daryl Williams, Calvin Thornton and the Victory Singers, The Daughertys, Forever Praise, Final Harvest, Lance Driskell, The Smith Sisters, Roger Tate, Heart to Heart, Johnnie Baker, For His Glory, The Harris Brothers and a combined Gaither-style choir. Emcee will be Ken Moates from WKLF Radio. A love offering will be taken to support mission trips. For more information, call 334-546-3356.

•First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka will host a Rejuvenation Conference April 28. Guest speakers will be Walter and Dean Albritton. Scheduled speaking time are 8:15 a.m., 9:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. There will be a covered dish luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Bring a dish and join in.

•A dedication ceremony for Mt. Hebron East Baptist Church will be held April 28 at 10:30 a.m.

•The Proclaimers Quarter with Jeff Lanier from Columbus, Ga. will be in concert April 28 at 6 p.m. at Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. All are welcome. Refreshments to follow. For information or directions, call 334-569-2421.

•The Voices of Celebration and Instruments of Praise at Santuck Baptist Church will present the musical, “Grace,” April 28 at 6 p.m. Attendees will be encouraged by this musical. Everyone invited.

•The Dennis Family will be at The Mercy Seat on Elisabeth Street in Prattville April 28 at 6 p.m. Fellowship to follow. Everyone is invited to attend.

•The Larch Family 25th Anniversary Celebration will be held May 4 at 6 p.m. at Victory Temple Church in Wetumpka. The Dalton Gang, Tom Snowden, Calvin Thornton and the Victory Choir will be featured.

•A benefit concert for Devin Lee will be held May 4 at 6 p.m. at Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. Featured group will be Spoken For.

•Seman Congregational Church will celebrate Homecoming May 5. Heartland from Marbury will perform. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. with dinner to follow. All are invited and encouraged to attend.

•Servant Fellowship Ministries will celebrate Pastor Fay Day May 5 at 3 p.m. The event will honor Pastor Fay Leonard, evangelist, teacher and radio personality, for 25 years. Special guests will include Elder David and Evangelist Monica Powell and Greater Harvest Apostolic Church family, Montgomery; Pastor Troy Holley and First Baptist Church family, Wilsonville; The Gray Sisters of Decatur; and Mt. •A women’s self defense class will be held at New Home Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 14 in Wetumpka May 11 at 10 a.m. All donations will go to the Sunshine Center in Montgomery.
•An Outdoor Benefit Gospel Singing will be held May 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Wetumpka. The event will be a fundraiser for the Search and Rescue of Elmore County K9 team. Featured performers will be Solid Rock and Forgiven Heart. There will be concessions, a cake auction and more. Bring lawn chairs. If rain, the singing will be inside the church.

•Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church will have a huge yard sale May 11, during the Slapout VFD parade and barbecue sale. If interested in renting a space for $20, contact the church office at 334-569-2375 for further information. There are a limited number of spaces, so call by May 3.

•Rock Springs Baptist Church, 375 Rigsby Road, Tallassee, will host a free pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. June 1 at the fellowship hall. The event is free to everyone and includes pancakes, coffee, juice, butter and syrup. In addition, a giant yard sale will be available on the church grounds from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day. Coupons for free merchandise are on hand. Come out and enjoy breakfast and shop and save. Located just off Rifle Range Road at the Rigsby Road entrance across from the Dozier farm house. Coming from Wetumpka on Rifle Range do not exit at the first Rigsby Road sign. Turn in front of the Dozier farmhouse at 12531 Rifle Range Road. Turn off Rifle Range Road onto Rigsby and it will be on the left. All proceeds go to missions.

•First United Methodist Church Wetumpka will hold VBS June 24-28. The theme will be “Kingdom Rock.”

•Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.

•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes a devotion, program, prizes and a covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families are encouraged to attend.

•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.

•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Tallassee.

•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).
