•The Larch Family 25th Anniversary Celebration will be held May 4 at 6 p.m. at Victory Temple Church in Wetumpka. The Dalton Gang, Tom Snowden, Calvin Thornton and the Victory Choir will be featured.

•A benefit concert for Devin Lee will be held May 4 at 6 p.m. at Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. Featured group will be Spoken For.

•Seman Baptist Church will sponsor a yard sale May 4 at 6:30 a.m. Many new items this month. Located on Highway 9, six miles north of Santuck.

•Cedarwood Community Church in Wetumpka will host a Camp Stew and White Chili Sale and Indoor Yard Sale May 4, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $8 for a large microwaveable container of stew or chili. The yard sale will have clothes, kitchen items, etc. Free space is available for vendors and crafters. All proceeds benefit the ongoing ministries of the church. •Seman Congregational Church will celebrate Homecoming May 5. Heartland from Marbury will perform. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. with dinner to follow. All are invited and encouraged to attend.

•Servant Fellowship Ministries will celebrate Pastor Fay Day May 5 at 3 p.m. The event will honor Pastor Fay Leonard-Settles, evangelist, teacher, recording artist and radio personality for 25 years. Pastor Fay and her husband, Deacon Edward, opened Servant Fellowship Church in Wetumpka in 2001. In 2010, Servant Fellowship merged with Mt. Canaan Baptist under the leadership of Pastor Clifford Thomas. She currently serves as youth pastor in addition to Servant Ministries. Special guests at Pastor Fay Day will include Elder David and Evangelist Monica Powell and Greater Harvest Apostolic Church family, Montgomery; Pastor Troy Holley and First Baptist Church family, Wilsonville; The Gray Sisters of Decatur; and Mt. •Rev. Roger Oslen will bring the message “Getting Past the Grieving” at Cedarwood Community Church May 5 at the 10 a.m. worship service. The text will come from Ephesians 4:25-32. •Jubilee Christian Fellowship in Montgomery will hold a gospel singing May 5 at 1:30 p.m. Featured will be The Hendersons from Milton, Fla. For information, call 334-451-0059.

•A women’s self defense class will be held at New Home Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 14 in Wetumpka May 11 at 10 a.m. All donations will go to the Sunshine Center in Montgomery.

•An Outdoor Benefit Gospel Singing will be held May 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Wetumpka. The event will be a fundraiser for the Search and Rescue of Elmore County K9 team. Featured performers will be Solid Rock and Forgiven Heart. There will be concessions, a cake auction and more. Bring lawn chairs. If rain, the singing will be inside the church.

•Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church will have a huge yard sale May 11, during the Slapout VFD parade and barbecue sale. If interested in renting a space for $20, contact the church office at 334-569-2375 for further information. There are a limited number of spaces, so call by May 3.

•The Emmaus Road Quartet from Dalton, Ga. will be at Jubilee Christian Fellowship in Montgomery May 17 at 7 p.m. For information, call 334-451-0059.

•Jubilee Christian Fellowship in Montgomery will host a Central Alabama Southern Gospel Music Association Singing May 31 at 7 p.m. For information, call 334-451-0059.

•Rock Springs Baptist Church, 375 Rigsby Road, Tallassee, will host a free pancake breakfast from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. June 1 at the fellowship hall. The event is free to everyone and includes pancakes, coffee, juice, butter and syrup. In addition, a giant yard sale will be available on the church grounds from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day. Coupons for free merchandise are on hand. Come out and enjoy breakfast and shop and save. Located just off Rifle Range Road at the Rigsby Road entrance across from the Dozier farm house. Coming from Wetumpka on Rifle Range do not exit at the first Rigsby Road sign. Turn in front of the Dozier farmhouse at 12531 Rifle Range Road. Turn off Rifle Range Road onto Rigsby and it will be on the left. All proceeds go to missions.

•First United Methodist Church Wetumpka will hold VBS June 24-28. The theme will be “Kingdom Rock.”

•Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.

•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes a devotion, program, prizes and a covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families are encouraged to attend.

•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.

•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Tallassee.

•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).
