Clifford Truitt Farmer, 82, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, in Shelbyville, Ky.
He was a native of Titus. He was a retired wholesale floral salesman with Pete Garcia Company and an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Shelbyville First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Farmer and Annie Ruth Manning Farmer; and his sister, Sue McKee Holley.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lloyd Farmer of Shelbyville, Ky.; his daughters, Kathy Jenkins and Elizabeth Wessels (Marc A.) both of Louisville, Ky.; his sister, Ann Griswold (Ralph) of Lake Martin; his brother-in-law, Lester Holley Jr. of Eclectic; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his nephews, Mike McKee and Tripp Griswold; and his nieces, Deborah Harrison, Sherri Jarvie and Amy Reese.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. May 24 at the Shannon Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Marc A. Wessels and the Rev. Gene Roberts. Burial will be held in Grove Hill Cemetery with Shannon Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. May 23 at the funeral home.
