Mrs. Virginia Bell Bailey, a resident of Wetumpka, was born Oct. 30, 1938, in Houston, Texas, and passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the age of 74.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. May 25 at Gassett Funeral Home.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. May 26 at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Buddy Thrasher and Minister Kenneth Randolph officiating. Graveside services will be held on at 4 p.m. May 26 at East Napoleon Church of Christ Cemetery in the Napoleon community of Randolph County.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Bailey Sr.; son, Thomas (Donna) Bailey Jr.; daughter, Devona Bailey Shoemake; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sister, Faye Holstine.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Joe Bailey and Paul Bailey and by a great grandson, Brady Milam.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod Bailey, Jeremiah Bailey, Bo Milam, Kevin Milam, Ron Schwartz and Christopher Day.
