Peggy Ann Garmon, 78, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior after a brief hospital stay on June 8, 2013. She was born May 20, 1935.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 P.m. June 10 at First Baptist Church of Eclectic.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. June 10 at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Britt Green officiating. Interment will follow at Bullard Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Ruby Oliver; brother, Forrest Oliver; and husband, Sam H. Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Marvin Garmon; brother, Joe (Judy) Oliver; her four daughters, Dianne (Gary) Norrell, Joyce (Danny) Ingram, Bonnie (Ray) Miller and Linda (Randy) Meharg; her son, Sam Brown; grandchildren: Nick Norrell, Blake Norrell, Shanon Miller, Raylan Miller, Danielle Ingram, Deanna Ingram, Mary Hasser, and Natalie Sullivan; four great grandchildren: Lane Childers, Madelyn, Carolina, and Carleigh Norrell; and her beloved dog, Angel.
Pallbearers are Nick Norrell, Blake Norrell, Raylan Miller, Danny Ingram, Ray Miller, Randy Meharg and Gary Norrell.
Although she loved flowers, memorial contributions are requested to First Bapitst Church, P.O. Box 240400, Eclectic, AL 36024 in lieu of flowers.
