The September session is a two-day retreat. Monthly programs address a variety of topics including the county’s history, state and local government, health care, industry, education and more. Every class also selects a group project as part of their Leadership experience.
Applications are available at the county’s three chamber offices, the Elmore County Extension Office and online at Tuition is $400, payable upon acceptance to the class. A limited number of participants are chosen each year.
Selection is based on diversity of vocation, gender, neighborhood, race and age. Application can be made for a partial scholarship. Those accepted into the new class will be notified by Aug. 15 and an orientation reception will be held in late August.
