•New Home Baptist Church of Titus will host a Women’s Conference Aug. 9 and 10. Tickets are $5 each. Joette Castleberry will teach from the book “The Grace and Truth Paradox” by Randy Alcorn. Tell a friend and come join in a special weekend. •True Divine Baptist Church will provide hundreds of kindergarten through high school students with free school supplies and new to slightly used uniforms during the Loop Music Festival Saturday, Aug. 10. The event will take place at the 4525 Virginia Loop Rd. church location from noon until 6 p.m. The evangelistic effort will feature a mini-job fair; pony rides, a petting zoo and inflatable amusements; vendors with information, food and non-food items; music, arts, entertainment, empowerment sessions and more. •The annual Central Union Note Singing will be held at New Style United Methodist Church Aug. 11. Join for a glorious time. New Style UMC is located at 76729 Tallassee Hwy., Wetumpka. Rev. John L. Bratcher is the pastor.

•Claud Independent Methodist Church will hold homecoming Aug. 11. Singing will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Mark Lanier. Worship service will be at 10:45 a.m. nwith Pastor Earl Crutchfield. Everyone is welcome to join the congregation for worship and a fellowship meal following the service. The church is located at the intersection of Highway 14 and County Road 63.

• Mark Lanier will be in concert Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. A love offering will be received. The church is located at 504 W. Osceola St. in Wetumpka.

•Everyone is invited to join New Style United Methodist Church in revival Aug. 12-14. Services will begin at 7 p.m., nightly. Rev. Johnny Hollis, pastor of Mercy Missionary Baptist Church, Montgomery, will be the guest speaker. The revival theme is, “Produce Fruit Worthy of Repentance” (Luke 3:8). •First Baptist Church of Eclectic will host a free Back to School Block Party Aug. 25, from 2 to 6 p.m. The event will offer a fun-filled afternoon of inflatables, food, games and prizes for the Eclectic community.

•Union Congregational Christian Church will host a benefit fish fry Aug. 25 for Jalisa Ridley. Plates are $7. Donations are also accepted.

•Thelma Baptist Church Women’s Ministry will sponsor the Beth Moore 2013 Living Proof live simulcast Sept. 14, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The simulcast will feature Moore and worship leader Travis Cottrell. Seating is limited, so attendees should register and make payment at by Aug. 30. The simulcast will be viewed at Thelma Baptist Church, 810 Weoka Road in Wetumpka. •Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.

•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes a devotion, program, prizes and a covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families are encouraged to attend.

•First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka holds a fellowship lunch every third Sunday after worship.

•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.

•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Tallassee.

•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).

•River’s Edge Flea Market is open every Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Tallassee United Methodist Church. All vendors welcome – new items, old items, crafts, youth groups, ball teams, baked goods, produce and food. Various booth costs available.
