We regret to announce the passing of Ms. Angie Welch Blair, age 64, of Donalsonville, Ga., and formerly of Wetumpka.
Ms. Blair passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, in Wetumpka.
Funeral services for Ms. Blair were held at 11 a.m. EST Aug. 17 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, Ga., with the Rev. William Martin Gray Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, Ga.
Visitation was held 7-9 P.m. EST Aug. 16 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
Ms. Blair was born in Wetumpka on July 22, 1949, to the now late Denver H. and Tinia P. Williams Welch.
She was a graduate of Wetumpka High School and worked as a title clerk for Dothan Chrysler in Dothan.
Ms. Blair was a loving mom and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Blair leaves to cherish her memory, her loving companion of 13 years, Jerry Wayne Cunningham of Donalsonville, Ga.; one son, Maj. Paul Blair and his wife Myrnee of Hawaii; a daughter, Christine M. Gray and her husband Carlton of Wetumpka; as well as seven grandchildren, Jordan Carol Blair, Parker Camille Blair, Paul Johnathon Blair, Jr., Avery Michelle Blair, Foster Thomas Blair, Caden Daniel Blair Gray, and Grace Ann Gray.
Active pallbearers were Michael Cunningham, Doug Cunningham, Caleb Cunningham, Jacob Cunningham, Colby Cunningham and Steve Odom.
The family ask that memorial contributions be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition 2501 Oak Lawn Avenue Suite 435 Dallas, TX 75219.
