The Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors will host a pancake breakfast Sept. 28 from 7 to 10 a.m. at Coaches Corner in downtown Wetumpka. Proceeds from the event will benefit the chamber’s downtown building renovation project.
The project is aimed at repair and restoration of the buildings purchased by the chamber at 107 and 109 Court St. and 116 and 118 E. Bridge St. in downtown Wetumpka.
“On display during the breakfast will be historic photos and a brief history of each of the buildings to be renovated,” said Jamie Young, chamber membership director.
Tickets are $5 each and include two pancakes, two sausages and either orange juice, milk or coffee. Breakfast will be eat-in or take-out. Tickets can be purchased from any chamber ambassador or at the chamber office at 110 E. Bridge St.
