Millbrook woman faces murder chargePublished 9:04am Wednesday, October 9, 2013
An argument which led to the stabbing death of a Millbrook man now has a 21-year-old Millbrook woman facing a murder charge.
An Elmore County grand jury found the case against Joyden M. Woods suitable to be bound over for a jury trial.
Woods, who was the alleged girlfriend of Cable Church, had been arguing prior to the stabbing in an apartment on Thornfield Road and alcohol was a fator, according to Millbrook Police Chief P.K. Johnson.
Woods was arrested and charged with the April 12 stabbing death of Church and was later released from the Elmore County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
Her arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 21.
