Camp Chandler to host annual Halloween Carnival

YMCA Camp Chandler will host its 15th annual Halloween Carnival Oct. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m.
“We hope everyone will come out and join us for a night of carnival games, a haunted house, trick-or-treating, a costume contest and much more,” said Daniel Blazer.
Admission to the annual event is $5 per child. All proceeds benefit the Camp Chandler camper scholarship fund that helps children attend camp.
The carnival schedule ­includes:
5 p.m. – gates open. Activities: carnival in gym, cake walk, purchase raffle tickets, bid on silent auction, inflatables, little pumpkin playhouse in Lions Lodge, face painting, hayrides to the waterfront for marshmallow roasting, concessions and big screen football in the dining hall, haunted house in the Conference Center.
6:15 p.m. – McGilvery Plantation haunted hike.
7 p.m. – raffle, silent auction and costume contest in the gym.
7:30 p.m. Trick-or-treating in the lower cabin area.
