Some of Conrad’s victims are believed to be children of his own.
Conrad is being held in the Elmore County Jail on a $5.4 million bond.
His next plea hearing is set for Nov. 19.
Tallassee Police Chief Jimmy Rodgers said Conrad confessed to the crimes.
Also charged is Conrad’s wife, Brandy Jean Conrad, who is facing four counts of sodomy and three counts of sexual abuse.
Deputy Assistant District Attorney C.J. Robinson said the wife is being charged because she allegedly knew of her husband’s abuse toward the children and didn’t report it.
