EA’s Courson, Harris make AISA All-Stars

Edgewood seniors Kaylie Courson and Hannahlee Harris have been named to the 2013 Alabama Independent School Association’s East All-Star volleyball team.
The AISA All-Star Volleyball Tournament will be held Nov. 2 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
After guiding the Lady Wildcats to the Class A state semifinals, a runner-up finish in the Region 1 tournament and a 28-6 overall record, Courson and Harris will fill out the roster as a middle blocker and an opposite, respectively.
The AISA East All-Stars are: Shelby Baggett, Pike Liberal Arts; Racheal Barefield, Lee-Scott; Christi Cochran, Eastwood Christian; Kaylie Courson, Edgewood; Haley Grant, Macon East; Hannahlee Harris, Edgewood; Anna Marie Pugh, Macon East; Alyssa Schreiber, Cornerstone Christian; Lindsey Sims, Cornerstone Christian; Shelby Slocum, Lee-Scott; Kailee Taylor, Pike Liberal Arts; and Lauren Williams, Lee-Scott.
