Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 96 Lightwood Road, Deatsville will hold a gently used jewelry and accessories sale Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Most items are $1.


Santuck Baptist Church will host a College Fair Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. for senior high school students and their parents. The fair will include Christian and Baptist campus ministry schools located around the Southeast. Dr. Don Hawkins from SouthEastern Bible College will bring the message and the college’s praise band will lead musical worship. Each institution will have a table set up in the fellowship hall. This will be an opportunity to talk with school representatives about what they have to offer as far as scholarship opportunities. Refreshments will be served. •Wetumpka’s annual Community Thanksgiving Service will be held Nov. 24 at Trinity Episcopal Church and co-hosted by First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church and First United Methodist Church. The service will begin at 6 p.m. and praise God in song and in prayer. Rev. Jonathan Yarboro, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will preach. Rev. James Troglan (First Baptist), Rev. Kevin Kelly (First United Methodist) and Rev. Bob Henderson (Trinity) will also participate. A reception will follow. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend and give thanks.

•A Community Thanksgiving Service will be held Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church Chapel. Before gathering with family and friends for fabulous food and exciting football, come and worship God with thanksgiving for his many blessings.  All are welcome.  Finger foods will be provided afterward in the Fellowship Hall.


First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka on West Bridge Street will hold a Thanksgiving baked goods and casserole sale Nov. 27 starting at 12 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Let the sale help in preparations for Thanksgiving dinner. All proceeds will benefit Wetumpka’s 2014 Relay for Life.


Santuck Baptist Church Worship Ministry will present “The Mystery of the Manger Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. In the program, Jane Blonde, an investigative reporter wants the facts. Her questions and searching make headline news on Christmas morning.


Santuck Baptist Church Worship Ministry will present “The Story, The Musical,” Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Attend to experience the stories of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The church is located at 7250 Central Plan Road in Wetumpka.


•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes a devotion, program, prizes and a covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families are encouraged to attend.


Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.


First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka holds a fellowship lunch every third Sunday after worship.


•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.


•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).


•Friendship Closet, a ministry of Friendship Baptist Church, is open the first Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Those who need clothes, shoes, etc. for women, men and children, may visit.
