•The Christmas classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” will be shown Dec. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Cedarwood Community Church. There is no charge for this event – it is part of Cedarwood’s Community Outreach ministry. Pastor Rev. Roger Olsen and the congregation want to emphasize “It’s A Wonderful Life”! First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka’s choir will present the Christmas portion of Handel’s “Messiah” Dec. 15 at 11 a.m.


Santuck Baptist Church Worship Ministry will present “The Story, The Musical,” Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Attend to experience the stories of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. The church is located at 7250 Central Plan Road in Wetumpka.


First Baptist Church of Wetumpka will offer a Christmas Music Extravaganza Dec. 15 at 5 p.m.


•The Eclectic United Methodist Church Children’s Christmas Program will be Dec. 15 at 10:50 a.m. during morning worship services. Join the congregation in excitedly anticipating the celebration of the Savior’s birth.


•The Eclectic United Methodist Church choir will present its annual Christmas cantata Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. A time of fellowship will follow. Every is welcome. The church is located at 1035 Main Street in Eclectic.


•The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Tallassee will host a performance of Handel’s “Messiah Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. Information about the event is on the church website


Good Hope Baptist Church choir will present its Christmas cantata Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m.


Union United Methodist Church, 691 Central Road in Eclectic will hold a special Christmas program Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. along with Pierce Chapel UMC and Central UMC. Special guests will be the gospel singing group God’s Mercy.


Beulah Baptist Church in Tallassee will have caroling and fruit basket delivery Dec. 15 at 4 p.m.


•Members of Eclectic United Methodist Church will go Christmas caroling Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. Those participating should meet at the church.


First Baptist Church of Wetumpka will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m.


Grace Point Community Church will hold a Christmas Eve service Dec. 24 from 6 to 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring their family and come for a time of worship through music, reading Scripture, communion and a special candlelight service.


First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka will hold candlelight service of lessons and carols Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary.


Eclectic United Methodist Church, 1035 Main Street in Eclectic, will hold its Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service Dec. 24 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.


Beulah Baptist Church in Tallassee will hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service Dec. 24 at 8 p.m. Everyone welcome.


•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes a devotion, program, prizes and a covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families are encouraged to attend.


Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.


First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka holds a fellowship lunch every third Sunday after worship.


•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.


•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).


•Friendship Closet, a ministry of Friendship Baptist Church, is open the first Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Those who need clothes, shoes, etc. for women, men and children, may visit.


•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Tallassee.


•River’s Edge Flea Market is open every Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Tallassee United Methodist Church. All vendors welcome – new items, old items, crafts, youth groups, ball teams, baked goods, produce and food. Various booth costs available.
