Santuck Baptist Church will hold its Women’s Ministry Kickoff Breakfast Jan. 11 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and its Men’s Ministry Breakfast Jan. 12 at 7:30 a.m.


Gateway Ministries, 4131 Hwy. 14 in Millbrook will hold prayer and Bible study sessions on the following dates from 6 to 8 p.m.: Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29 and Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26.


•If you know of any girls in the community in need of a dress, accessories, or both for prom please let them know about “Formally Yours 2014.” This is a ministry that will be hosted by Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic on Jan. 25 from 12 to 5 p.m. Gently worn prom dresses, accessories, and makeovers will be given at no cost to each girl. There will be chances to win free hairstyles, manicures and makeovers from local salons for the actual day of prom as well. •Sunday School Friend Day at Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka will be Jan. 26. Everyone is invited to attend this special day in Sunday School. Activities begin at 9:30 a.m.


•The Central Alabama Southern Gospel Music Association (CASGMA) will hold its first quarterly singing of 2014 Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. Jubilee Christian Fellowship, located at 55 Red Eagle Road in Montgomery, will host the concert. CASGMA artists will perform. No admission charge, however a love offering will be taken. Make plans to attend for a night of worship. Invite a guest. •Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes a devotion, program, prizes and a covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families are encouraged to attend.


Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more -information.


First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka holds a fellowship lunch every third Sunday after worship.


•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.

•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).


•Friendship Closet, a ministry of Friendship Baptist Church, is open the first Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Those who need clothes, shoes, etc. for women, men and children, may visit.


•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Tallassee.


•River’s Edge Flea Market is open every Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Tallassee United Methodist Church. All vendors welcome – new items, old items, crafts, youth groups, ball teams, baked goods, produce and food. Various booth costs available.
