Atkin Hill Baptist Church will host a concert March 23 at 4 p.m. in the Holtville High School auditorium on Highway 111. In concert: Rev. Walter Ellis and the Country Boys of Deatsville, Monica Lisa Stevenson of Atlanta, Adonna B. Williams of Birmingham, Pastor Eddie Edwards and Greater Works , and Pearlie Ellis and New Creation. Everyone is invited. Admission is $15 at the door.

 

•There will be a benefit gospel concert for liver transplant recipient Sybil Ivey on March 28 at 7 p.m. at Victory Temple in Wetumpka. Artists will be The Larch Family, Forgiven Heart, The Dennis Family, Victory Temple choir, Calvin Thornton, Gerrie Hayes, Don Wright, Regina Liles and GiGi Gardner. Elmore United Methodist Church will host a gospel singing March 29 at 6:30 p.m. featuring Heartline. A love offering will be collected. The church is located at 40 Hatchett St. in Elmore.

 

•A Relay for Life Gospel Singing will be held April 5 at 6 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Wetumpka. Featured groups will be Forgiven Heart of Wetumpka and The Good News Quartet of Opp. Pastor Gerald Wood will emcee. All proceeds will go to the Jessica’s Cancer Busters Relay for Life team. New Home Baptist Church of Titus will host a movie night April 5 at 7 p.m. The movie will be “Grace Unplugged.” Come and bring a friend.

 

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Eclectic will hold Homecoming April 6 starting at 10:30 a.m. Featured guest singing group will be The Kempters. Everyone is invited.

 

Robinson Springs United Methodist Church will hold Midnight Rock for grades 3-6 April 11-12 from 6 to 8 p.m. Register online at rsum.org.

 

Central Alabama Southern Gospel Music Association (CASGMA) will present its 21st Annual Convention and Awards Show April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Millbrook Theatre on Main Street in Millbrook. The event will feature CASGMA artists along with special guest singer, songwriter and evangelist Jason Steege from Dothan. No admission charge, but a love offering will be taken at the door. First United Methodist Church of Wetumpka will hold its Rock N Roll Easter Event April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

 

Robinson Springs United Methodist Church will hold an Easter Egg Hunt April 13 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. for children in second grade and younger. There will be story time, games and an egg hunt.

 

•Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes devotion, program, prizes and covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families encouraged to attend.

 

Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.

 

First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka holds a fellowship lunch every third Sunday after worship.

 

•Celebrate Recovery, which deals with life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups, holds meetings every Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Santuck Baptist Church.

 

•Need a bus ride to church? Healing Waters Church of God in Eclectic offers bus rides to church for anyone who would like to attend, but does not have transportation. Call Steve Roberson at 334-252-1575 at least 24 hours in advance. Sunday services are at 9 a.m. (prayer), 10 a.m. (Sunday School), 11 a.m. (worship) and 6 p.m. (worship). Wednesday services are at 6 p.m. (prayer) and 7 p.m. (worship).

 

•Friendship Closet, a ministry of Friendship Baptist Church, is open the first Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Those who need clothes, shoes, etc. for women, men and children, may visit.

 

•Hope For Healing Grief Support Group meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Tallassee.

 

•River’s Edge Flea Market is open every Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Tallassee United Methodist Church. All vendors welcome – new items, old items, crafts, youth groups, ball teams, baked goods, produce and food. Various booth costs available.
