New Harmony Baptist Church will hold Homecoming June 8. Music by Ray and Rhonda Hedley from 10 to 11 a.m. Preaching from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Lunch on the grounds following the service.

 

Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School will be June 8-12. Registration and sign-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the program from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening. Children ages 4 through sixth grade are invited. A light snack will be provided during registration. Come and bring a friend.

 

Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka will hold Vacation Bible School June 9-13 for ages 4 through sixth grade from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.. For more information, call Tammy Driver at 334-567-4729 or 334-567-4740.

 

Santuck Baptist Church, 7250 Central Plank Road, will offer Vacation Bible School June 9-13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day. Registration will be available soon and is open to those who have completed kindergarden-sixth grade.

 

Robinson Springs United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School “Kickin’ It Old School” June 9-12 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Open to children from preschool to those who have completed fifth grade. Bethlehem East Baptist Church, 7561 Upper River Road in Tallassee, will hold Vacation Bible School June 9-13 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day. VBS kickoff will be June 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

 

Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church Youth Encounter is a week of games, missions, worship and Jesus to be held June 9-13. All youth who will enter seventh grade this fall through recent high school graduates are welcome. Each day begins at 9 a.m. with either a mission or games and lunch provided by the church. The Caravan team of five college students will do an afternoon Bible study, skits, games and worship. It will be an exciting and fun week.

 

Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka will hold a Community Night of Fun June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be music, games, refreshments and more. This is a free outdoor event. For information, call 334-567-4729.

 

•There will be a pancake breakfast June 15 at 8 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Wetumpka to raise fund for Children’s Camp. Cost of breakfast is a donation. The church will also have a Father’s Day celebration and children’s musical June 15 at 10:30 a.m.

 

Eclectic United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School June 16-20, with graduation June 22. The theme is “Weird Animals, Where Jesus’ Love is One of a Kind.” Graduation will be Sunday morning followed by a covered dish meal for the children and parents.

First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka will host Family Vacation Bible School June 23-27 from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. each evening.

 

New Home Baptist Church of Titus will host Weird Animals 2014 Vacation Bible School July 13-18, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Each evening will begin with a light supper for kids at 6 p.m. The program will run from 6:20 – 8:30. The church is located at 1605 New Home Road, Titus.

 

•Elmore County Hispanic Vacation Bible School will be held July 21-25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Thelma Baptist Church. All Elmore Baptist churches are encouraged to unite in a single evangelistic effort to reach out to the local Hispanic community. Needs include transportation/drivers to pick up students; bilingual and English speaking volunteers for teaching, recreation and crafts; meals for each day of VBS; and prayers. •Community Fellowshippers meet at Cain’s Chapel United Methodist Church every third Wednesday at 11 a.m. The gathering includes devotion, program, prizes and covered dish luncheon. Local pastors and families encouraged to attend.

 

Mulder Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a noon salad luncheon the third Thursday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call 334-567-4225 for more information.
