Lovett goes to JSU

Christopher Lovett, a 2007 graduate of Edgewood Academy, has been invited to play football at Jacksonville State University.

Lovett reported to camp August 5 to begin working out with the Gamecocks.

The 6’1 230 lb freshman was informed by the coaching staff that he would be playing tight end.

During his senior year at Edgewood, he was named to the All-Metro 1st team as an offensive lineman.

While at Edgewood Academy, Christopher was an honor roll student, a member of the National Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society, and the Beta Club. He will major in pre-med while attending JSU. Christopher is the son of Mark and Portia Anderson, Millbrook and Rick and Marla Lovett, Mobile.
