Three points separated Pro Division leader Taylor Renfroe and Chad Reese coming into Saturday’s final stop of the No Worries Tour.

However, the duo was going to have ride head-to-head with 2007 Pro Division winner Phil Aslinger.

Aslinger, after missing the July stop, was ineligible to retain his title.

Renfroe proved to have the championship tricks as the rain fell on the riders in the final few hours of competition on the Coosa River.

Renfroe, 17, of Daphne, left the Coosa riverbanks with a gold medal, while Reese followed with the silver.

In the Outlaw Division, Jeff Mathis walked away with a gold medal and the 2008 championship.

Jon Masters proved better than Stephen Hand and Garrett Rowdon in the Advanced Division.

Ben Watts, 9, of Wetumpka stood atop the Intermediate Division standings for most of the tour and claimed his championship Saturday afternoon, finishing ahead of Will Owen.

Harrison Brown won the Beginner Division.

Tabetha Brown defeated Betsy Lewis to claim the Women’s Division medal.

Parker Watts stood alone as the winner of the Grom Division.

Richard Pelham proved better than Michael Pearson and the elder Watts in the Wakeskate category.

The No Worries Tour, in its second year as a wakeboarding competition, made three visits to the city of Wetumpka this summer.

The goal of the tour was also to raise money for Wetumpka’s Camp Chandler.
