Willie Rogers Reeves of Elmore is expected to be in front of Elmore County District Court Judge James Goggans next week for preliminary and bond reduction hearings in the death of his wife.

Reeves, 50, is accused of killing his wife Andrea Reeves, 52, of Elmore.

Court documents suggest Reeves used an AR-15 to kill his wife as a party was hosted at their home.

“... Andrea Reeves was found deceased from a gunshot wound in the master bedroom bathroom,” court documents read. “Ms. Reeves was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Court documents state the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 11:20 p.m. May 26 about a subject being shot. When officers arrived at the home on Lucky Town Loop, a bystander directed law enforcement to a vehicle driven by Willie Reeves and a subsequent traffic stop was executed.

Reeves is being held in the Elmore County Jail on a $150,000 cash bond.
