James Robert Armstrong, born January 21, 1962 died May 25, 2019, unexpectedly.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, James D. Armstrong; mother, Shirley A. Armstrong and brother Greggory L. Armstrong, Dolly R. Weldon(mother-in-law) and Connor Hamrac (grandchild).

Survived by his spouse of 34 years,Frankie Evon Watson Armstrong, Two Daughters, Tiffany N. Whatley (Wesley), Alyshia A. Lawrence (Josh). Seven Grandchildren, Michael, Greggory, Darien, Christian, Destinie, Jeremiah and MariGrace.

He was Papaw, Uncle Robert and Coach among the years and a role model for many kids he helped in softball and football, to name a few.

Robert was well respected among the HVAC Community and will be missed for his abundant knowledge of HVAC systems.

He will also be missed by the multitudes of friends and colleagues he met along the way.

Celebration of life will be held June 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Ridge Church. Located at Wetumpka High School.

We ask that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity in his name.

Also, if you knew him well, He was a huge Alabama fan so come in your Alabama Best.
