Dear Editor,

On May 4 while traveling through Wetumpka we had a breakdown on our vehicle. The serpentine belt on our Suburban broke and we pulled into a gas station just north of Wetumpka. Luckily for us, an off-duty sheriff’s deputy, Anthony Edwards, was at our rescue. He was out running an errand for his wife and had stopped by the gas station. He identified the problem and said he would be back with us.

He got in touch with Jimmy of Jones Auto and Wrecker Service, who assisted us. Anthony came back with Jimmy where we were stranded. Jimmy was able to get a serpentine belt delivered to us there and he put it on for us. We very much appreciate what Jimmy and Anthony both did for us in getting us back on the road.

Thank you, Anthony Edwards and Jimmy with Jones Auto and Wrecker Service, for all you did for us. May God richly bless such wonderful people.

Bill and Marie Gregg
