The National Weather Service issued a slight risk, level two out of five, for most of Tallapoosa, Elmore and Coosa counties from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday.

Earlier today, this second round of storms was predicted to be at an enhanced risk, level three out of five. The slight risk level includes possible damaging winds up to 60 mph with quarter-sized hail.

Tallapoosa County EMA director Jason Moran said while currently the risk level has decreased it is possible for storms to shift so continue to remain weather aware.

Elmore County continues to have a tornado watch until 4 p.m.
