The original Wonder Woman costume worn by Lynda Carter in the 1970s TV series has been auctioned for £104,000 (nearly $140,000).
The ensemble sold in a Los Angeles sale on Thursday (May 8) to Beverly Hills tech investor Anthony Jabin, who called it "an incredible piece of television history."
Other Wonder Woman items included her tiara and earrings (£20,800), the original "Lasso of Truth" prop (£26,000), and knee-high boots (£41,600).
Julien’s Auctions’ "Channel Surfing: A Broadcast to Binge" event also featured other items from iconic television shows.

The original front door from classic sitcom "Cheers," emblazoned with the show’s logo, topped the auction at £130,000.
Costumes from the series also performed well, including Ted Danson’s "Sam Malone" Red Sox jacket and John Ratzenberger’s "Cliff Clavin" postal uniform, each selling for £8,320.

Furniture and props from “Frasier” also attracted strong interest. Kelsey Grammer’s "Frasier Crane" neoclassic coffee table and set decorations brought in £62,400 - nearly four times their estimate - while the show’s Coco Chanel-inspired sofa and pillows realised £41,600.
The two-day auction featured over 600 lots spanning six decades of television history, confirming the enduring appeal-and escalating value-of small-screen nostalgia.
