Edna Hobbs Faust passed away June 7, 2019 at the age of 84. She was born October 7, 1934 to the late Thomas Campbell Hobbs and Lula Lynch Hobbs.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dearl Carlos Faust, infant daughter, Ruth Veronica Faust and brothers, Buddy Hobbs and William Hobbs of Troy, Alabama.
She is survived by her six sons, Mike (Nancy) Faust of Dawson, Georgia, Randy (Darlean) Faust and Tim (Sharon) Faust of Rockford, Alabama and Dean (Tori) Faust, David (Alida) Faust and Terry (Devoria) Faust of Slapout, Alabama; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas (Carolyn) Hobbs of Evergreen, Alabama and Grady (Judy) Hobbs of Troy, Alabama; sisters-in-law, Betty Hobbs and Debbie Hobb of Troy, Alabama, Carolyn Faust of McKenzie, Alabama and sister-in-law, Doris Underwood of Illinois ; brother-in-law, Gary (Frances) Faust of Red Level, Alabama.
Mrs. Faust was a life-long homemaker who also kept the nursery at Church At The Brook for 20 years. She was a member of the Busy Bee Quilting Club of Wetumpka. Her quilts won numerous awards at the Alabama National Fair for many years. She was an avid artist who painted many landscapes.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Church At The Brook, Milbrook, Alabama with Rev. Brian Gilpin and Rev. R.O. Eubanks officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, of Selma directing. Private interment will follow. Visitation will begin at the church on Monday at 12:00 p.m. Final resting place will be at Ebenezer Bible Church in Deatsville.
Pallbearers will be Jared Faust, Robbie Faust, Kane Faust, Timmy Faust, Ethan Faust and Colby Faust. Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Faust and Gabe Faust.
