Mrs. Martha “Jo” Blake Moseley

1929 – 2018

 

Funeral Service for Mrs. Martha “Jo” Blake Moseley, 89, of Alexander City, will be Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Gerald Hallmark will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moseley passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Chapman Healthcare Center. She was born on February 13, 1929 in Equality, Alabama to Albert Jefferson Blake and Frankie Monk Blake. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Moseley loved her family greatly! She was an avid Auburn fan and enjoyed living at Lake Martin where she loved to cook and entertain and was darn good at it.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Moseley of Chelsea and Steve Moseley (Kelly) of Auburn; grandchildren, Conrad Moseley and Tyler Carr; great-grandchild, Blake Carr; special friend, Catherine Greenleaf of Alexander City; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 55 years, Leo Justice Moseley.

The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the staff of Chapman Healthcare and Assisted Living for the wonderful love, care and support that was extended to Mrs. Moseley.
