Mrs. Maxine Windham Winn, of Midland City, formerly of Wetumpka, passed away in a local hospital on Thursday, May2, 2019 at age 89.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 7, 2019 from 12-1:00 p.m. at Wetumpka Church of Christ, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m., with ministers Chris Jones and Buddy Thrasher officiating. Burial will follow in Pine View Memorial Gardens with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.

Mrs. Winn is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Norman Denny Winn; her parents, James and Della Windham; one brother, Clifford Ernest Windham and one sister, Willodean Burton.

She is survived by her children, James Denny Winn (Ruby Ann), Paul Don Winn (Connie), and Connie Susan Thompson (Greg); sister, Bobbie Ruth Williams; grandchildren, James Clayton Winn (Paige), Kelly Winn Haynes (Scott), Travis Paul Winn (Marlee), Lauren Hannah Thompson, and Logan Michael Thompson; great grandchildren, Haydn Nichole Winn, Hanna Taylor Winn, Anna Beth Haynes, and Hampton Scott Haynes.

Pallbearers will be Clay Winn, Travis Winn, Logan Thompson, Greg Thompson, Scott Haynes, and Joe Robbins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeffery Williams, Greg Williams, Bart Williams, Brian Windham, and Mark Windham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Wetumpka Church of Christ Building Fund, or Alabama Christian Academy
