Swiss police suspect they may have caught a repeat offender on camera - in the form of a speeding duck.
Cops snapped the bird flying at 52 kph (32 mph) in a 30 kph (18.6 mph) zone in the village of Oberwangen on 13 April.
However, they believe it could be the same mallard that made world headlines clocking the same speed in the same place on the same day in 2018.
The local government, Gemeinde Köniz, said: "The story began on the evening of April 13, 2018, when a mallard, presumably male and in a hurry, sped through Oberwangen at low speed.

"In the 30 kph zone on Wangentalstrasse, the duck was traveling at exactly 52 kph. We know this precisely because it was caught on radar and photographed at that moment.
"Colleagues at the police inspectorate were astonished when they looked at a radar image from April 13, 2025. A duck had indeed been caught in the speed trap again. Seven years to the day later, in the exact same place and at exactly the same speed. A duck as a notorious speeder and repeat offender."
Pre-empting any suggestion of foul play in the story, they added: "According to the police inspectorate, it is impossible that the image or the radar system was manipulated. The computers are calibrated and tested annually by METAS, and the photos are sealed.
"We hope you enjoy pondering curious coincidences, criminal activities of animals and the maximum flight speed of ducks."
