By Dean Murray
An Indiana Jones whip once owned by Prince Charles and a pretty outfit worn by E.T. are among incredible movie items set to go under the hammer.
Dallas-based Heritage Auctions will offer an extraordinary collection of Hollywood memorabilia in a blockbuster four-day event.
Highlights include the iconic "Rosebud" sled from Citizen Kane and a screen-used X-wing miniature flown by Luke Skywalker in The Empire Strikes Back.
Screen fans can also bid on the yellow Citroën 2CV from the car chase in James Bond’s For Your Eyes Only, as well as a screen-used Star Wars Snowspeeder once owned by Carrie Fisher.

Indiana Jones' bullwhip from The Last Crusade was originally presented to then-Prince Charles by Harrison Ford and the film's producers on 27 June 1989, at the Royal Charity Premiere of the film in London.
Heritage Auctions add: "Diana, Princess of Wales gifted the bullwhip and by further descent to the present owner."
The Ten Commandments tablets were hewn from Mount Sinai red granite, as instructed by director Cecil B. DeMille, to publicize the 1956 epic film and educate the public.
The original E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial costume ensemble is screen-matched to the beloved scene in which Gertie (Drew Barrymore) dresses E.T., marking a pivotal moment in the film when the alien, guided by Gertie, begins to speak and expresses his now-iconic desire to "phone home."
Joe Maddalena, Heritage’s Executive Vice President, said: "This is not just the most important entertainment event we’ve ever held—it’s one of the most important in auction history.
"These aren’t just props. They’re mythic objects that tell the story of Hollywood’s greatest moments."
The lots feature in the 16-18 July Hollywood/Entertainment Signature Auction, apart from The Ten Commandments tablets, which will feature in the Treasures From the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Collection event on 15 July.
