The Millbrook Chamber of Commerce helped Waffle & Co. recenlty cut the ribbon on the Deatsville Highway business.

The guys from Cask and Vine and The Social are at it again.

Entrepreneurs Lane and Ashley Minor have opened Waffle & Co. on Deatsville Highway in Millbrook.

“They have infiltrated us,” Millbrook Chamber of Commerce executive director Brenda Davis said with a grin.

Members of the chamber, City of Millbrook and the restaurant gathered for a ribbon cutting last week even though Waffle & Co. had been open for two weeks already.

The food surrounds breakfast.

“This whole menu here is based around waffles,” Waffle & Co. general manager Garry Williams said. “Of course, we did a little research and found out the toppings everybody likes.”

Waffle & Co. has M&Ms, Reeses, marshmallows, chocolate chips and more to adorn the waffles.

“We have about 30 different toppings,” Williams said.

The menu includes items such as chicken and waffles, smash burgers, biscuits and more.

“There’s also a hashbrown casserole,” Williams said. “It is the best around.”

The restaurant also features adult beverages such as Bloody Mary’s and beer.

Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley said he was pleased to see another eating establishment in town.

“We're looking forward to having them in Millbrook,” Kelley said. “I hope they are successful.”
