The Eclectic Fire Department was paged out to a piece of heavy equipment on fire Monday afternoon on Brookley Road.
“It was heavily involved when we arrived,” Eclectic fire chief Josh Dorminey said. “We also called Friendship for mutual aid due to it being heavy equipment.”
Firefighters put out the blaze without any reported injuries.
Dorminey said the cause of the blaze is unknown but doesn’t look suspicious.
