The Wetumpka Police Department is investigating theft from a Wetumpka man.
A police department incident report states $38,150 was stolen between June 26 and July 21.
“It’s people taking advantage of someone with health issues,” police chief Ed Reeves said. “At the moment we are still investigating it and trying to determine who is responsible for the theft.” Reeves said no arrests have been made as of Friday afternoon.
